Ryan went flying last week and was kind enough to ask me if I wanted to come. We flew over Mike's house (note the pool patio project):

I took a lot of other pictures, including ones of a pretty cool sunset, none of which came out. I think that the combination of the plane window and the hazy conditions totally confused the auto-focus on my camera.
Faith had her yearly recital a couple of weeks ago. These pictures are actually from the rehearsal; obviously, you can't take pictures during the actual recital.

I think that I'm going to rent a faster lens next year. I had to up the ISO to 800 and the shutter speed down to 1/100 for most of these. I ended up with a lot of pictures that were way too blurry.
This was a weird chain. It looked like metal, but it was floating.
These poles made it impossible to take a picture out across the water, so... I just gave in and took a picture of the poles. That is Santa Maria della Salute in the background.
