Snowmageddon, Canine Edition

Finally getting around to posting some pictures of the dogs having fun during Snowmageddon.

Took the dogs for a hike around the community park, post-holing the whole 1.5 miles. It was, ummm, strenuous.

Flyin' with Ryan

Ryan went flying last week and was kind enough to ask me if I wanted to come. We flew over Mike's house (note the pool patio project):



And then flew up to the Allegheny National Forest:



Which apparently has a small cemetery in it:


I took a lot of other pictures, including ones of a pretty cool sunset, none of which came out. I think that the combination of the plane window and the hazy conditions totally confused the auto-focus on my camera.

Faith's Recital

Faith had her yearly recital a couple of weeks ago. These pictures are actually from the rehearsal; obviously, you can't take pictures during the actual recital.

I think that I'm going to rent a faster lens next year. I had to up the ISO to 800 and the shutter speed down to 1/100 for most of these. I ended up with a lot of pictures that were way too blurry.
